We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you engage with our services, including:

• Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
• Professional or certification details relevant to course enrollment and prerequisites.
• Payment-related details when we process invoices or registrations.
• Communications, feedback, and preferences shared through forms, email, or phone.

We may also collect limited technical data when you interact with the site, such as IP address, browser type, and referring URLs. This helps us maintain the security and performance of the website.

We use personal information to:

• Respond to inquiries, provide course details, and manage enrollment.
• Send transactional communications, including confirmations, scheduling updates, and certificates.
• Improve our services, website experience, and training offerings.
• Comply with legal obligations, including public safety, medical training, and tax requirements.

We do not sell personal information. We only share data:

• With training agencies and certification partners, when needed to process course completion records.
• With third-party service providers that support our operations (for example, payment processors or email platforms) under appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
• When required by law or to protect health, safety, or legal rights.

We may use essential cookies and aggregated analytics to maintain site performance and understand usage patterns. You can adjust browser settings to refuse cookies, but doing so may limit certain functionality.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to deliver services you request, or to meet legal, accounting, and regulatory requirements.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Despite our efforts, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our apps, Wilderness SOAP Notes and DiveMedix Responder, are built to work offline and to keep clinical information on the device that recorded it.

• Patient cases, photos, signatures, notes and saved facilities are stored only on your device. We do not operate servers that receive them, and we cannot see them. Deleting a case in the app, or deleting the app, removes that data.
• No account is required, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs in the apps.
• Location is used only when you ask for it: to record the patient location in a report and to find nearby hospitals. For the facility search, your coordinates are sent to OpenStreetMap services (Nominatim and Overpass) to run the query; we do not store them. Location is never used in the background.
• The camera and photo library are used only to attach photos you choose to a report; the photos stay on the device unless you share the report yourself.
• Reports you share, by message, email or the system share sheet, go wherever you send them; the apps do not send them anywhere on their own.
• Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive no payment details, only an anonymous confirmation that a subscription is active.

Our courses and website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

You may update your contact preferences by emailing info@divemedix.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights regarding access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised date.
